Iron Mile Fitness Sacramento

Iron Mile Fitness has proudly hosted a diverse range of athletes, including CrossFit Games competitors, regional athletes, NBA and NFL players, among others.

Currently, we administer two programs at Iron Mile Fitness that extend a warm welcome to children, all at no cost to youth.

Court-appointed foster youth program

The Overcome Project hosts two weekly sessions for kids residing in group homes within the Sacramento area at Iron Mile Fitness. During these sessions we coach the kids, accompanied by their social workers, through workouts, establish meaningful connections, provide a safe community space, and share the hope we've discovered through our faith in Jesus.

“Working out helps release stress, anger and sadness…. Everyone here just radiates positive vibes, and you guys, no matter what we are going through, understand that your words matter and what you say just eases us in the moment” Lilly

Family and youth service referrals

The Overcome Project receives referrals from local family and social services, allowing children to participate in regular CrossFit classes at our gym without any financial burden. They receive the full benefits of coaching, become part of our supportive community, and have the opportunity to develop their fitness, just like any other gym member.

Our goal is to offer these children a positive environment, surrounded by members of society who are committed to improving their health and well-being. We are dedicated to supporting and assisting these young individuals before it's too late.
